Obloquy of Newness

'"True, I talk of dreams, Which are the children of an idle brain, Begot of nothing but vain fantasy." ~shakespeare

I Shall Talk to You Like This

I shall talk to you like this

measured and pure

unstained, innocent

yet holding back

never asking for more

until we both see the sun rise

hold hands during sunset

and wake up in each other’s arms

Somewhat of an announcement. Please read!

This is an amazingly intriguing idea, I’m really interested to see what you’ll create. Y’all send him ideas!

Okay,

Now would be as good as anytime to say this so here goes:

For those who doesn’t know, I am currently a 5th year college student taking up Architecture in University of Santo Tomas.

5th year will be my last before I graduate and that means I have to pass and defend my Thesis hopefully by next march.

My professors keep telling us to base our thesis with our own personal interest.
and since my interest is writing, here it is:

My Thesis’  preliminary title is
Writer’s BlockA Haven for the writing community

As the title implies, I am going to design a place, a haven solely for all writers
(whether poets, novelists, essayists, journalists, screen writers, etc.)
to convene, share ideas, read, be your fun selves and of course do what we do best: write.

It will be a free campus setting where everyone is welcome to come to experienced or just starting to , have the option to read and write outdoors or indoors ( It will expand even further as I tackle on my research)

The idea behind this is to create an environment like tumblr. It has been two months since I’ve started here in tumblr I have seen how this community works and this will be the project’s aim: to make and create an environment like this one.

So now, I am going to ask a little favor to every tumblr writer out there

If ever you guys have any ideas, opinions, inquiries, sources I could use for my research, Designs, strategies and what not
Please.. Feel free to message me.

I will update my progress from time to time
As of now I am in the research portion of my thesis,
and will surely be back passing around surveys.

Hopefully I will be able to start drawing and designing  by next October.

Any help and support you can lend me would really mean a lot!
and I am really forever thankful for it!

Please, pass this around.  Have a great day everyone!
-Matt

In the province. Awaiting for the rains of May to wash all sadness, pain and tears away. Til then.

Toothbrush to the Bicycle Tire

They told me that I was meant for the cleaner life

That you would drag me through the mud

They said that you would tread all over me

That they could see right through you

That you were full of hot air

That I would always be chasing

Always watching you disappear after sleeker models

That it would be a vicious cycle

But I know better

I know about your rough edges

and I have seen your perfect curves

I will fit into whatever spaces you let me

If loving you means getting dirty, bring on the grime

I will leave this porcelain home behind

I’m used to twice a day relationships but with you

I’ll take all the time

And I know we live in different worlds

And we’re always really busy

But in my dreams, you spin around me so fast

I always wake up dizzy

So maybe one day, you’ll grow tired of the road

And roll on back to me

And when I blink my eyes into morning,

Your smile will be the only one I see

A Deeper Look at Centaurus A
The peculiar massive elliptical galaxy Centaurus A (NGC 5128) is pictured in this image taken with by the Wide Field Imager attached to the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at the La Silla Observatory in Chile. With a total exposure time of more than 50 hours this is probably the deepest view of this peculiar and spectacular object every created.
Centaurus A lies about 12 million light-years away in the southern constellation of Centaurus and has the distinction of being the most prominent radio galaxy in the sky. The bright nucleus, strong radio emission and jet features of Centaurus A are produced by a central black hole with a mass of about 100 million times that of the Sun. Matter from the dense central parts of the galaxy releases vast amounts of energy as it falls towards the black hole.
The galaxy’s elliptical nature shows up as the elongated shape of the fainter outer parts. The glow that fills much of the picture comes from hundreds of billions of cooler and older stars. Unlike most elliptical galaxies, however, Centaurus A’s smooth shape is disturbed by a broad and patchy band of dark material that obscures the galaxy’s centre.
The dark band harbours large amounts of gas, dust and young stars. Bright young star clusters appear at the upper-right and lower-left edges of the band along with the red glow of star-forming clouds of hydrogen, whilst some isolated dust clouds are silhouetted against the stellar background.
These features, and the prominent radio emission, are strong evidence that Centaurus A is the result of a merger between two galaxies. The dusty band is probably the mangled remains of a spiral galaxy in the process of being ripped apart by the gravitational pull of the giant elliptical galaxy.
